Crappy Holidays

This may have been the shittiest Christmas ever! My poor Chloe came down with strep throat and scarlet fever. I stayed home all Christmas day with her while Chelee and Henry went and did stuff with the in-laws and opened gifts and had fun. Chloe was miserable and who can blame her? I didn't have much more fun either. We watched Napoleon Dynamite again and hung around. That was good but all else sucked.

The next day wasn't much better. Me and C alone again. Nothing to do but be bored out of our minds. After Chelee and Henry got home I had to get out for a bit so I went and helped stimulate the economy by spending some of my Christmas money. Picked up Return Of The King extended DVD and new Green Day cd. They both rock.

Chloe went to the doctor and got medicine so she will start getting better, thank goodness, and we can put this lousy Christmas behind us. O.K. bye.

Sweet!

We watched Napoleon Dynamite last night and I just have to say, Dang! what a kick ass movie! If you have not seen it yet, you totally should. It is one of the best movies I have seen this year. Even your kids can watch, as it has no questionable material in it at all. It rocks for the Lord!

VOTE FOR PEDRO!!!!

In A Perfect World...

Today would be a national holiday. Why, you ask? Because it's Frank Zappa's birthday, that's why. He would have been 64 today.

St. Alphonzo would be proud....

What's Your Christmas Name?

So the other day I got home from work and found out that Henry had assigned everyone a Christmas name. Henry is now "Figgy Pudding", Chloe is "Ice Queen", Chelee is "Jingle Chel", and I am now "The Ho Man". Even the pets are in on this. Lily the dog is now "Rudolph", (what else?)and Mr.Fabulous the cat is "Mrs. Claws". My whacky kids.

So, whats your Christmas name, hmmm?.....

Company Christmas Party

So, where to begin?

Last Saturday Chelee and I went to my company's christmas party. It was at a cowboy bar in Kennewick called The Branding Iron. We had our doubts about the locale, but it all worked out in the end. Let's jump right into this thing, shall we?

We arrived around 7:00 and found a table where we were joined by Max(my co-worker) and Heath(my boss). We ordered drinks and our meals and got under way. This is where they gave out gifts. I got a Kokanee coat and another BBQ. Pretty cool, can't complain. Then our dinners got there. Max was a little tipsy and accidentally put horse radish all over his baked potato. Then he took a bite and almost died! This was very funny. He then got a new potato from the waitress and made sure it was sour cream this time. After a few bites and conversation Max dug back into the first potato sending tears down his drunk cheeks! This made all of us at our table laugh very hard. Poor guy. He also kept asking what our waitresses name was all night(Daylene). He thought she was hot and is not good with names. And kinda drunk.

After dinner everyone hung out and had many drinks. This is where Lori became FUN LORI! She gets a little wacky when she drinks. We had fun. But I guess this wasn't good enough for Jenny, because she decided to go over to another bar(The Beach) and look for some action, if ya know what I mean, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. I'm told it was no dice for our young heroine.:( Hang in there kiddo, you'll get laid again someday:)

Now for the finale. Our office manager, let's call her "Lynette", got a bit tipsy and started making out with her boyfriend like her plane was going down! It was Lynette gone wild! It was a little disturbing actually, watching them kind of grind dance each other at their table, but funny none the less. That's when we decided it was time to go home. It was about 11:45 when we left and we gave Max a ride home. He kept asking "What was her name again?" He even wrote it on his hand! And still couldn't remember it!!!

Anyway, we had fun. Well that's all for now.
Until next time.......

Richland Library Rocks!

I love the Richland library. Lately they have been putting out a good amount of new cd's. I for one really enjoy this. I enjoy borrowing these. Lots of good new jazz! This makes me happy. Actually it is old jazz, just new reissue discs and such.

I sure wish they would get around to putting all the ones I donated out. There are a few I wouldn't mind listening to again. sigh.........

Nothing else new to report here. It's been a slow week for news.
