Anniversary

Saturday Chelee and I celebrated our 11th anniversary. Hooray. I love you, Chel!

Would you Rather....

So Friday Hannah had her major surgery on the leg. They took a foot long muscle from her back and put it in the leg. I guess her mom was freaking out about the fact that her back may have a dipped in area now, and it would look funny. I think I would rather have a weird looking dip in my back than not have a leg. Anyway.....

We Can Rebuild Her...

WARNING: The following story is true, and will probably contain a fair amount of foul language.

So Chelee's cousin Hannah just got married last week. Hoorah for her. Last night she and her new groom were at some racetrack in Wenatchee. Great. Then there was a car wreck. Who doesn't like a good crash, right? That shit happens all the time in auto racing. Well, the tire came off in this crash, see, and the rotor deal that holds the tire on came off too. This rotor goes rocketing into the crowd and SEVERS Hannah's leg below the knee!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! That was the story Chelee and I were told first thing this morning.

They were flown to Seattle and Hannah is at the hospital having the leg reattached! They think it should be O.K. Can you believe that shit? That seriously fucks up your honeymoon. I guess truth really is stranger than fiction. I will keep you all posted as to the progress of this unfolding saga.

That's it for now I guess, so....

Recap

So I haven't been posting lately. I've been busy, or something.

I went to the boatraces with my father & brother in-laws. Drank a lot of beer. Got a hellacious sunburn. That really sucked. I've finally stopped peeling. OUCH!

Chelee is going back to school, as many of you know, and I am so proud of her. When she sets her mind to something, look out! Plus I haven't dated a college girl in a long time!! What a turn on!

Chelee and the kids have been out of town since Saturday, and I've been home alone. Bummer. The first couple of days it was nice, but now I'm really lonely. I cleaned the house pretty thoroughly though. They get home tomorrow and I can't wait to see them.

Do you ever get stuck on something for awhile, and can't get enough? Lately I've been listening to a lot of The Jesus & Mary Chain. I love those guys. They rock. I've been into them since I was 16, and it's like I just rediscovered how great they were. Like you really care.

Anyway...
