Vacations, Anniversaries And Stuff

Today is the first day of my vacation. Huzzah! One week off with nothing to do but relax.

Today is also mine and Chel's anniversary. Huzzah! We've been married for 144 months! That's 12 years to you and me.

Well, that's all I've got for now.

Something Sad

On a downer note, my cat, Mr. Fabulous just died. I just buried him in my back yard. He was super good. I"ll miss him very much.

How Do They...

How do blind people shave? I mean do they all have electric razors or are they really sensitive to their faces and such? I was just wondering. They don't all have beards so the shaving is getting done somehow. I doubt they all have manservants to do it for them.

So I was reading the paper at lunch, and I came across many f'ed up articles. OK, here goes....

Some asian guy in Portland got sentenced to 11 years in prison for stealing womens panties. That's it. Stealing panties. 11 years!!! He apparently stole them from landromats, back yard clothes lines and dorms.

Some mexican guy in Pasco got 8 1/2 years for STABBING his wife in the neck! Stabbing! Neck!

Some white woman in Kennewick got NOTHING for embezziling $242,000 from the company she worked for. All she has to do is pay it back over TEN YEARS!!! She'll be done paying it off before asian guy gets out for STEALING PANTIES!!!!

I am totally outraged! I mean, come on. There has to be something wrong here!!! That can't be the whole story. All I know is that the justice system is way fucked up!!!!!!!! This is either horrible racism or totally screwed up judges and or lawyers!

Birthdays, Book Groups And Such

First of all, Happy 25th Birthday MTV!!! Remember when MTV stood for MUSIC TELEVISION? That was something, huh? When they used to show MUSIC videos.

Just got home from book group a while ago. It was once again fun. I enjoyed myself. Will have to do it again soon.
